Sweets and Smiles: Whatever to do with figs?

Hi, everyone! This week, I have been musing on what to do with figs, the ingredient of the month.  Pinterest (as always) has given me a few ideas.


1. Chocolate Ombre Cake with Mascarpone Goat Cheese Filling and a Caramel-Fig-Walnut Topping

2. Coconut Fig Ice Pops (dairy-free and without refined sugar, if you are into that kind of thing)

3.  Fig and Hazelnut Ricotta Crostini.

4. Mascarpone and Almond Cake with Figs.

5. Honey Roasted Figs.

I am totally looking forward to giving these lovely recipes a try!
